Hydraulic press is a kind of pressure processing equipment using hydraulic transmission technology, which can be used to complete various forging and pressure forming processes. It is usually used in the forging of steel, including the forming of metal structures, and even the pressing of plastic and rubber products. At present, different types of hydraulic presses are needed in many industries or fields of machinery production. For example, in the heavy machinery manufacturing industry, 800 ton presses and 1000 ton presses mainly use water pressure, while in the aviation industry or plastic and nonferrous metal processing industry, hydraulic presses are mainly used for the molding of plastic products, and the size of pressure is not important. Generally, 300 ton presses and 200 ton presses are used.

The extensive application of hydraulic press technology has enabled China's product industry to achieve independent design and manufacturing capabilities that can meet the needs of the domestic market, further accelerating the pace of development of the industry. In a word, the hydraulic press has become an important equipment necessary for the machinery production industry.
