Due to the large liquid resistance of the throttle port, a higher buffer pressure is formed in the buffer chamber to realize the deceleration and buffering of the cylinder piston. Adjusting the opening of orifice 2 can change the buffering speed of the piston. Sub L 3 (connected to the check valve) is the one-way oil inlet when the piston moves to the right, and the check valve 5 is the buffer chamber to the high pressure limit valve.
2 Performance analysis of buffer device

3 Summary of buffer mechanism
For the fixed throttling buffer device, the impact pressure is very large at the beginning, so the maximum pressure resistance of the buffer device should be considered in the design. After entering the buffer, the buffer effect decays quickly, which is suitable for the occasions with low piston speed and low load (inertia) mass. Its advantages are compact and simple structure, and it is widely used in hydraulic drive cylinders.

After welding, heat treatment should be carried out first to make the materials meet the required mechanical properties. Deep hole processing equipment must be used during processing, and grinding allowance shall be reserved during finishing to extend the inner hole to the size on the deep hole grinding machine.
Generally, oil cylinder processing plants do not conduct cold drawing of steel pipes again, and mainly purchase ready-made pipes. If it is a small oil cylinder and the cylinder head is fixed by pull rods at both ends, and there is no requirement for material hardness, steel pipes can be used for direct processing and grinding.
