1. According to Hydraulic system Working pressure selection. Different working pressures have different requirements on the quality of hydraulic oil. With the increase of system working pressure, the anti-wear, anti-oxidation, anti foam, anti emulsification, hydrolysis stability and other properties of hydraulic oil should also be improved. At the same time, in order to prevent leakage caused by pressure increase, the viscosity of hydraulic oil should also be increased accordingly; On the contrary, select low viscosity hydraulic oil.

2. Select according to the ambient temperature. For machinery with high ambient temperature or close to heat source, oil products with high viscosity temperature property (viscosity of oil changes with temperature, that is, viscosity temperature property) or fire-resistant oil products shall be preferred. In severe working conditions, in order to ensure the safety and reliability of the hydraulic system, it is necessary to select the oil with good viscosity temperature characteristics, thermal stability, lubricity, rust prevention and other properties.

3. Select according to the sealing material. The seal material of the hydraulic device is compatible with the oil used in the system, otherwise the seal will expand, shrink, erode, dissolve and other phenomena, resulting in the decline of system performance. For example, HM anti-wear hydraulic oil has poor compatibility with natural rubber, butyl rubber, vinyl rubber, silicone rubber, etc., which should be paid attention to in actual use.
